Our planning company Reinhardt & Ahrens designed the St. Florian location of the international timber wholesaler J. u. A Frischeis according to the most modern aspects and using the latest technologies.

The replanning of the location went hand in hand with the effective design and dimensioning of the individual logistical, storage and functional areas of the new logistics center.

The entire logistics system is designed for different operating conditions and factors. The warehouse layout was designed intelligently, the use of automated storage techniques was considered and evaluated, functional areas were optimally arranged and material and traffic flows were designed efficiently. The layout was kept flexible in order to be able to react to future extensions or changes.

Options for controlling and executing the processes in the warehouse using our warehouse management and control system Tourbo.store, which J. u. A Frischeis has been using for years at both locations in Stockerau, were planned and optimized.

The St. Florian location marks an important milestone for the future of the JAF Group, as it will assume an important supply function in the future due to the increasing demand for wood as a raw material.

Reinhardt & Ahrens was able to accompany and successfully advise the JAF Group on the logistical replanning of the new location.

The timber wholesaler was able to open the doors of its new branch as planned at the beginning of 2021/22.
